Citant.ai Refund Policy
Citant.ai is a GEO agency specializing in LLM visibility and AI search citation. This refund policy sets out which payments are refundable, what triggers a refund, what happens when an engagement ends early, and how billing errors are corrected. All prices are in USD, and no tier carries an onboarding fee.
Every GEO Pilot payment is refunded when the GEO Pilot guarantee is not met, initiated within 24 hours of the week-9 review, with no claim required. The $440 AI Search Audit is non-refundable unless delivery misses the 72-hour window. The GEO Pilot guarantee attaches to the GEO Pilot only. Duplicate or erroneous charges are refunded in full. The AI Crawler Access Report is free.

AI Search Audit Refund Terms
The AI Search Audit costs $440 USD, one-time, and is delivered within 72 hours of kickoff. Kickoff is the later of cleared payment and receipt of the intake form plus access, and kickoff starts both the 72-hour audit clock and the 9-week GEO Pilot clock. The $440 AI Search Audit fee is non-refundable, with one exception: if the AI Search Audit is not delivered within 72 hours of kickoff, the $440 is refunded in full on request, or the client may accept late delivery instead.
The $440 audit fee is credited in full against the GEO Pilot, as an invoice-line deduction on the first Pilot payment, if the Pilot is signed within 30 days of audit delivery. The credited $440 stays non-refundable in every case, including a GEO Pilot refund.
The GEO Pilot Guarantee
The GEO Pilot guarantee attaches to the GEO Pilot only. Under the GEO Pilot guarantee, the brand is named on at least 3 of the 10 agreed target queries across at least 2 of the 6 tracked platforms within 9 weeks, or every Pilot payment is refunded, initiated from our side within 24 hours of the week-9 review. Funds return through the original payment rail, typically within 5 business days.
At least one qualifying platform must be ChatGPT, Claude, or Google AI Overviews. The six tracked platforms are ChatGPT, Perplexity AI, Google Gemini, Claude, Microsoft Copilot, and Google AI Overviews. A GEO Pilot refund returns the cash paid toward the GEO Pilot, and the $440 credited from the AI Search Audit is not returned.
How the GEO Pilot Refund Is Triggered
The GEO Pilot refund requires no claim, form, or request from the client. When the week-9 review shows the threshold was not met, the refund is initiated within 24 hours of that review. Target queries are tracked daily in an independent third-party platform on the platforms it covers, with Claude measured manually under the published protocol. The per-platform record is delivered to the client at three dated review gates: day 0, week 4, and week 9, with the complete raw export at week 9.

What Ends or Voids the GEO Pilot Guarantee
Two conditions void the GEO Pilot guarantee: the client’s site is offline, or AI crawler access is newly removed. The GEO Pilot guarantee also ends in two further cases: the client ends the GEO Pilot before week 9, or a GEO Pilot payment remains unpaid 30 days after its due date. No other condition ends or voids the guarantee.
Ending a GEO Pilot Before Week 9
A client may end the GEO Pilot before week 9 by written notice. GEO Pilot payments not yet due are canceled, GEO Pilot payments already made are not refunded, and the GEO Pilot guarantee no longer applies to that engagement.
If Citant.ai ends a GEO Pilot for any reason other than a breach of the signed Sign-Off by the client, every Pilot payment is refunded. The $440 credited from the AI Search Audit stays non-refundable in that case too.
Late GEO Pilot Payments
GEO Pilot payments fall due at kickoff, day 30, and day 60. When a GEO Pilot payment is 14 days overdue, work on the GEO Pilot pauses until the payment is received. If the payment remains unpaid 30 days after its due date, the GEO Pilot guarantee ends for that engagement.
Billing Errors and Card Disputes
Any duplicate or erroneous charge is refunded in full, initiated within 1 business day of confirming the mistake. A billing error refund does not depend on the GEO Pilot guarantee or on any other refund term on this page.

What the GEO Pilot Guarantee Measures
The GEO Pilot guarantee is specifically about brand naming inside AI-generated answers for agreed target queries across the agreed platform threshold, not traffic or conversion outcomes. Share of Model, the metric the engagement reports, is a citation-naming metric, not a ranking-position or traffic metric. A guarantee refund therefore rests on one question: whether the brand was named on at least 3 of the 10 agreed target queries across at least 2 of the 6 tracked platforms within 9 weeks.
GEO Retainer Terms
The GEO Retainer starts from $5,000 USD per month and requires a 3-month minimum after a completed GEO Pilot. After the minimum, the GEO Retainer runs month to month and ends with 30 days notice. The GEO Pilot guarantee does not attach to the GEO Retainer or to the AI Search Audit.
